About the N-Queens Math Puzzle
Welcome to the interactive N-Queens Puzzle solver. Originating as the "8 Queens Problem" proposed by chess composer Max Bezzel in 1848, this is a famous mathematical and computer science challenge. The goal is to place N chess queens on an N×N chessboard so that no two queens threaten each other.
How to Play: According to chess rules, a queen can attack any piece on the same row, column, or diagonal. Click any square to place a queen. Use the "Show Attack Zones" toggle to help visualize dangerous paths in red. You win when you successfully place a queen in every row without any conflicts!
